Game Plan

Today’s schedule was very similar to yesterdays. We continued to finish our presentations. So the order of our presentation and their presenters are as follows:

            Wife of Bath- Ivan and Enrique

            Parson- Martha and Gloria

            Miller/ Manciple- Moriah and Stephanie

            Reeve- Kristen and Paulina

            Summoner- Dennis and Victor

            Pardoner- Vasthi and Ashley

So, if you have questions I would ask these people before the test tomorrow during third block.

 Now here are just other things you would probably want to know for the rest of the week.

  1. For the Documentary, you can just download it on to youtube.com. Then just give your house teach, Mr. Pang, the URL for your video. However if you don’t feel comfortable you can just give it to them on a CD
  2. Reading Circle groups are being discontinued by the end of the semester. Tomorrow is also the last meeting with your reading circle group. We also no longer need to do presentations on a book. However there is a catch, we will be required to write a report. However, you are allowed to copy sources for most of it. Mrs. Edward’s has given a template that we must use ( if you don’t your grade may be lowered). So here is the template we were given;

Brief Summary: (this can actually b copied from Amazon an amazon.com product review as long as the source is cited, must be the editorial review or the product review)

 

If You Liked It: ( give at least three other similar  genre/theme/plotline, if you go to amazon.com and type in your book then on the top of your screen or your sidebar it will give you related books.)

So, that is the format.  All of the things of in the parenthesis just notes to help you, so don’t type them on your final report for Edward’s. It needs to be 10-12 pt. font times new roman and it is worth one unit grade. Finally, all of your group members are doing the same book ( you’ll decide on it tomorrow) then she will pick one of the people in your group to receive an AE .  All of the AE papers will later go into a notebook for next years class to help them pick their reading circle books
